qurus for investors
qurus helps law firms turn a client’s pile of records into a file.
The firm is our route to market. The moat is what travels down it: playbooks per case type and court, and the firm’s workflow built around them.
- StagePre-revenue. Inviting firms to pilot.
- ModelPer case, per year, paid by the firm.
- Made inBuilt in Switzerland.
The problem
The evidence handover is broken.
A trainee spends hours sorting disorganised screenshots, often hours the firm can’t bill, and the best evidence turns up late.
Legal AI starts too late. It works on the firm’s files. The evidence starts on the client’s phone, before any file exists.
- Client intake
- The records that matter sit on the client’s phone. They reach the firm in pieces: screenshots, forwards, voice notes.
- Timeline and exhibit list
- Dates from memory, screenshots with no date, events out of order. Trainees spend hours sorting it.
- File integrity
- One edited date or amount in an email, statement or chat export is easy to miss. A changed copy can pass unnoticed.
The solution
qurus takes in, fingerprints and orders the client’s evidence.
- Intake
- The firm invites the client under the engagement, so the lawyer directs the work. Files arrive in qurus, not in the firm’s inbox.
- Fingerprint
- Each file gets a fingerprint on arrival, so a later change to a copy shows. The original is kept as received, in one system kept apart from the firm’s network.
- Timeline and exhibit list
- qurus reads dates, amounts and attachments, and builds a dated timeline and a numbered exhibit list, every fact linked to its source. The lawyer signs off before export to the firm’s own systems.
Market and go-to-market
Wherever a case rests on the client’s own records.
- Where we start
- Family law first, separation and divorce, then other evidence-heavy disputes: employment, tenancy, inheritance, commercial.
- Beyond law firms
- Insurers face the same handover: claims evidence that arrives as screenshots, forwards and scans, and has to be dated, checked and traced to its source.
- Who buys
- The firm, per case, per year. Pilots with firms, starting in Switzerland.
Competitive advantage
Playbooks per case type and court.
- Case playbooks
- What each court expects, per case type. Built with the first firms.
- Why AI isn’t the moat
- The models are a commodity; the playbooks are not.
- Pilot commitments
- Designed for professional secrecy. Swiss security; stored and processed in Switzerland or the EU. No training on client data. Secrecy and data agreements before a pilot.
